Dr. Miguel Buenrostro hails originally from Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, and has lived in Puerto Vallarta for the last five years. Before opening Vallarta Gay Clinic, he was the Medical Director at SETAC’s Wellness Center. There he was heavily involved in the international ImPrEP protocol sponsored by the United Nations Population Fund to bring free PrEP to Mexican citizens. He also worked with Hospiten as Medical Coordinator, setting up and organizing 15 private clinics in the local area. Before arriving here, he spent 5 years in Cancun and Playa del Carmen working in private hospitals.
