Vallarta Gay Clinic’s Clinical Director, Ismael Rossi, just concluded a series of ten training sessions with Puerto Vallarta’s police force on diversity issues related to our LGBT+ Community here. The training sessions were coordinated by MOVii (Movimiento por la Igualdad en Mexico/Movement for Equality in Mexico) and held weekly since May.

Rossi said, “This training is essential, but the real transformation is seeing the outlook and commitment by the officers to take their insights into their daily work. It’s fundamental that those charged with maintaining order and security in our city are fully informed and sensitized about diversity and human rights.”
